Village Green Technologies, LLC is a West Coast Technologies company established in 2009. Its first product is a patent for an optionally deployable second display, primarily for smartphones.

Management Team

B. Tina Ebey

B. Tina Ebey is the founder, Co-Inventor, and CEO of Village Green Technologies, LLC. She has been involved in the IT / IP industry since before the invention of laptop computers. Ms. Tina Ebey holds two masters degrees. She is a person of remarkable vision and insight and a creative educator. Ms. Ebey got her start in technical writing and as Director of Pacific Research Center, Inc. which was started by her father in 1969.

Ms. Tina Ebey has over twenty years working in education, technology and design, resulting in Tina Ebey’s speaking, writing or being published in over 15 countries. As an American educator she has been invited by IFIP, an agency of UNESCO and the United Nations, to address learning issues and new technology. She’s a published contributor to Eurologo participating in research including early laptop design and teaching methods. She consulted with Stanford University's VA/Medical Center which anticipated MIT's One Laptop Per Child learning project.

Tina holds an M.A. from Fielding Graduate University. Her thesis was on building a mentoring model based on her background in television, teaching and new media design. She is the Director of Pacific Research Center, Inc., an educational and scientific non-profit.

Dr. Peter Bishop

Dr. Peter Bishop is Co-Inventor and Chief Technologist for Village Green Technologies. He has been a computer professional for over thirty years.  After getting his Ph.D. at M.I.T. in 1977 in object-oriented computer systems, he met the founder of Remedy while they were together at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center.  He left PARC in 1980 to work on operating systems and compilers for the National Semiconductor 16032 microprocessor. He then started working for a series of startups.  He helped found Forethought, the first publisher of FileMaker, which went on to create PowerPoint. Three startups later, Dr. Bishop, developed the key technology for Aeroprise, Inc., a partner with BMC Remedy, providing their mobile solution.

Paul Sladkus

Paul Sladkus oversees the sales efforts for Village Green Technologies. He has spent nearly 40 years in the communications business. A former executive with CBS and PBS he has helped to create some of the most well known TV shows (All in the Family, Sonny and Cher, Carol Burnett, Love of Life, Nature and Brain Series) and he has worked on over 5,000 programs and still counting. Paul created a leading multi-cultural marketing organization 25 years ago and worked with numerous tele-communications companies, i.e. New York Telephone, AT&T, Sprint, MCI and others to build business. Paul is also founder of www.goodnewsbroadcast.com a leading good news web broadcaster in the world.

Joseph A. Sawyer, Jr.

Joseph A. Sawyer, Jr. of the law firm Sawyer Law Group, PC procured the patent that protects this technology. In his over twenty-year legal career, his firm has prosecuted over 1700 issued US patents and counsels clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and licensing protection, including writing patent validity and infringement opinions. Mr. Sawyer provides advice and counsel to a range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to individual inventors on a variety of intellectual property matters over a variety of technologies. These IP matters include patent procurement, IP strategy, IP licensing, reexaminations and other IP issues.

Linda C. Chatman

Linda C. Chatman of the law firm Chatman Law Offices is the General Counsel for Village Green Technologies.

Christopher H. Smith and Astrid Allen-Grimes

Smith & Associates Enterprise, Inc. DBA Smith Capital Development, LLC is the Managing Consultant for Village Green Technologies. Astrid Allen-Grimes is the CEO of Smith & Associates, as well as being a co-owner with Christopher H. Smith of Smith & Associates.
